Wine Tasting

4239187_low2“J’adore les vins,” I say often – I love wine.  If you’re also a wine aficionado, I’ll take you on an unforgettable French experience, one of the very few wine tasting tours in Paris.  You’ll try wines from small vineyards from around France, most of which are not exported to the U.S.

To visit the “cavistes” where Parisians drink and buy their wine, you’ll leave the central tourist section of Paris and Metro out to the beautiful 17th Arrondissement, a mostly residential neighborhood near the Arc de Triomphe.  We’ll walk down it’s narrow side streets and discover wonderful wine.

At each stop, we’ll taste several wines and have a bit of cheese, bread, sauccison or rillettes to go along with them.  We’ll talk with the owners, who know the winemakers personally and can tell us about where the wines come from and how they’re best enjoyed. Because we’re so tempted to linger in each place, we usually visit three wine bars.  By the end of the tour, you’ll have new knowledge and greater respect for Frances’ obsession with it’s wine.

The tour begins at 5:00 pm and ends at 8:00 pm, just in time for you to head for dinner.

Fee:  € 95 per person, (includes the wine and hors d’oeuvres)
